Welcome to St Joseph’s Primary School, Lisburn, where every child is encouraged to thrive and be the best that they can be.
In 1902 the founders of St Joseph’s Primary School, the Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Mary, established a tradition of academic and cultural excellence, this coupled with high expectations rooted in Gospel values is what everyone in St Joseph's continues to aspire to today.
We are committed to fostering an environment where every child can develop their unique talents and achieve their full potential.
St Joseph's is optimally located in the heart of Lisburn, beside the beautiful Castle Gardens. This prime location not only provides a serene and inspiring setting for learning but also makes it easy for us to take learning outdoors to apply theory to the real world but also to take advantage of all Lisburn has to offer on our doorstep. We have the Island Centre where the children perform twice a year, Racquets Badminton Club, the Leirsureplex, Wallace Park, the Linen Centre and much more.
St Joseph's is a family that extends well beyond the school walls, having provided holistic education and developing the whole child for many generations, with many more to come.
In St Joseph’s, we pride ourselves on offering a wide range of opportunities for every child to explore their unique gifts and talents, allowing them to pursue the interests that they take with them into their future.
Join us in our journey of learning, growth, and success.
