Barra Best visits St Joseph's

Our Primary Three children had a fantastic treat on Monday 14th March, when the BBC NI Weather Forecaster, Barra Best, came to visit. In Primary Three for the past few weeks, the children have been learning all about weather. Barra showed the children a video to help them understand how the Weather Forecast is created. He also showed the children how to create a Weather Map from satellite pictures. The children even learnt that Weather Stations can be situated in people's back garden! 

Thank you to Barra, for sharing such interesting information with the children. He certainly helped to them to understand more about Weather Forecasting and they all had a brilliant time! Come back and visit us soon Barra!
