St. Joseph’s is delighted to announce the addition of the ‘Talk Boost’ communication intervention programme to the Foundation Stage. The programme aims to support children in the development of communication skills through a variety of practical activities. This is of particular importance for children in P1 and P2 where language, and their ability to communicate, plays such a vital role in all aspects of school life. Mrs Allen, Miss Gallagher, Miss Manson and Mrs Toman have recently been trained in delivering the programme which will commence in January. You will be informed, before the end of Term 1, if your child has been selected for this.
